How Bala Reset Their Team With a Private Sound Bath at Soho House Austin

When Natalie Holloway, founder of fitness brand Bala, started planning her team's fall retreat, she wasn't looking for another agenda-packed itinerary. She wanted her team of nine to leave feeling genuinely recharged - creatively open, quietly connected, and grounded in what they were building together.

She chose a private sound bath. And we had the honor of making it happen at Soho House Austin.

A Room Set With Intention

Before the team arrived, our sound healer set the space with care: crystal singing bowls arranged at the front, meditation cushions laid out across the vintage rugs, a single candle and raw selenite anchoring the center. The room was already doing its work before anyone walked in.

On each cushion, a soundhealing reflections card - four prompts to sit with after the session. It's a small thing that creates something significant: a private moment before the collective one. The conversations that follow tend to go deeper for it.

Sound as a Team Reset

There's something that happens in a sound bath that's hard to manufacture any other way. The vibrations from the bowls move through the body — not just the ears — and something in the nervous system lets go. For a team that's been heads-down building, it's the kind of exhale that actually lands.

For Bala Bangles, a brand rooted in making movement feel good, it was a natural fit. The same philosophy that lives in their products — accessible, intentional, designed to feel right — translated beautifully into a wellness experience built around presence and collective rest.

Designed With Intention

One of our favorite things to do is curate tailored wellness experiences that integrate naturally into meaningful moments - retreats, launches, team milestones - without feeling like an add-on. Sound healing in particular has a way of doing what a team dinner can't: creating genuine stillness together.

We currently activate in 70+ cities across North America and Mexico and have partnered with some of the most iconic brands like Netflix, Aesop, and Microsoft - teams who believe the experience they offer their people matters.

Are you're planning a retreat, an offsite, or a moment you want your group to actually remember? We'd love to help design it!
